Administration of Veritas NetBackup 8.1.2

The first step in validating technical competence and competency is to become a Veritas Certified Specialist (VCS) with a Veritas product in your particular field of product expertise. Candidates must pass one proctored VCS exam based on a combination of Veritas training content, widely cited product documents, and real-world job tasks to obtain this level of certification.

This curriculum consists of product/version-specific technical exams that verify that the successful applicant has the expertise and skills required to configure and manage NetBackup version 8.1.2.

Passing this test earns you a Veritas Certified Specialist (VCS) credential and counts against the qualifications for a Veritas Certified Professional (VCP) in Data Protection.

Administration of Veritas NetBackup 8.1.2 Certification Exam

You'll have up to 105 minutes to finish the test. On the test, you will be presented with 75 – 85 questions. To pass, you must get 65 percent of the questions correct. Your final score will be determined by the number of items correctly answered, so you have to answer all questions. Passing this exam results in a Veritas Certified Specialist (VCS) credential and counts against the Veritas Certified Specialist (VCS) certification criteria.

Each certification exam is a performance-based, multiple-choice electronic exam that demonstrates your mastery of critical skill sets against published objectives. Each exam has a set amount of time allotted to it. When registering for your test, please confirm the time allotted.  All examinations are closed books, which means you cannot use any written materials, computers, or calculators during the test. When you finish an exam, you will get immediate on-screen feedback on your results.
